Features

Reliability — Airfoil restraints provide additional reassurance that the airfoils remain attached in an unlikely disaster scenario. The system comes standard on 20- to 24-ft (6- to 7.3-m) fans and is an option on smaller diameters.

Assimilated Aesthetic — Safety straps run along the inside of each airfoil for an uninterrupted look.

Patented Design — Durable, lightweight nylon safety straps extend from the winglets through the airfoils and secure to the hub. Each strap is precisely matched to the fan’s diameter, eliminating the need for a tensioning mechanism and reducing opportunity for noise.

Strap Construction — Heavy-duty nylon webbing secures to the winglets and hub plate with 12-gauge stamped steel clips. Loops at the ends of the straps are secured in a double-stitch pattern for reinforced durability.

Anchor Points — Stamped steel safety clips are preattached to each winglet at the factory to comprise the outer anchor points and provide tension, while clips on the opposite end secure to threaded inserts incorporated in the fan hub.
